HOTHOUSE MUSIC - DVD
Manatee was recently commissoned to author Hothouse Music's commerical showreel DVD. The project required video transfers from a number of different media sources, bespoke menus, graphic design and animated motion graphics.
CANDIE PAYNE- PRODUCTION
Pre production work on Candie Payne's long overdue debut Album - 'I Wish I Could Have Loved You More' was carried out at Manatee Studios. Look out her live shows at many of this summers festivals, including the Isle of Wight and Glastonbury.
DELOITTE - DVD AUTHORING
For the second year running, Manatee Audio have authored Deloitte's DVD for this year's community support projects. The final product follows strictly their corporate identity guidelines set by the company features slideshows, bespoke menus and incidental music.
GLOW - WEB DESIGN
Our web team have just completed the Flash based site of talented fashion and beauty photographer Sarah Monrose. The site has a minimalist look presents Sarah's superb portfolio of photos using a fantastic viewer which dynamically downloads the images.
LOGGAPHON - MIXING
Mixdown of the Loggaphon 12 track album. Downtempo disco meets experimental minimal epic rock due for realease later this year.
TIM FRASER - WEB DESIGN
We have also completed the Flash based site of international songwriter and composer Tim Fraser. The site has has a custom designed audio player showcasing a selection Tim's songs.
FUTURE CUT
Lily Allen writers and producers Future Cut have had a remarkable year. After the global success and a no.1 Album they are now one of the most in-demand production teams in the business. Current productions include Mr Hudson and the Library, Lemar, Kelis, Dizzee Rascal and a solo project by Nicole Scherzinger - the lead singer of the Pussycat Dolls.
YES KING
Yes King are set to sizzle this summer! The brainchild of production duo Mark Rae and Rhys Adams, Yes King fuse a melee of styles from Hip Hop, Dancehall, Ragga and Ska into their own unique brand. Their debut album "Rock This World" is due for release this autumn supported by UK, European and US tours. Rhys Adams is also producing new album projects at the Yesking studio from artists Mark Rae, Rae & Christian, Mish-Mash, and Ben Onono. Samplers from the album can be found on tracks 2 and 7 of the audio player.
COPYRIGHT PRODUCTIONS
House production duo Copyright are currently locked away working hard on their debut studio album for Defected Records. The project features guest artists including Shovell, Tasita D'mour, Imaani and Jazzy B.
SHOVELL - DRUM WARRIOR
Shovell - best known as M-People's percussionist, is another long time resident of the studios. He is a recording artist in his own right and also collaborates/sessions with many of the resident producers here at Manatee Studios. As part of the stable at Defected Records 'The Drum Warrior' - Shovell's alter ego, can be found playing live percussion at clubs througout the world.
SHAROOZ
House DJ/Producer Sharooz releases his next single 'The Knock' (Rotor Recordings) on July 2nd. He also has remixes of Deltawave's next single 'Tear It Up' forthcoming on the Mofo Hifi imprint and french band Hypnolove on much-hyped Parisian label Record Makers. In August he begins work on his debut artist album. He is also currently producing an album of production music for EMI Music Publishing and frequently contributes to BMG Zomba library music projects. He also runs the sound design company Sample Magic, distributed by Time & Space.
NICKY HOLLOWAY
Clubland legend Nicky Holloway has recently set up home at Manatee's Hornsey premises. Last few weeks he has played Twisted Electronic house in Siberia, Funky & R&B at The Met Bar, 70’s & 80’s pop at Guilty Pleasures (Koko) and even graced the stage at George Michael's gig at Wembley Stadium. 'You hum It son I’ll play', Also he will be in Cannes for the Lions 2007 'the Oscars for the advertising industry'. Studio wise, he is putting together a Jamie Cullum compilation, working with Danny Rampling on the Moody Guru project, and remix projects with Little Andy and Chris Good.
